Welcome to your Customer Portal, where you have control and access to a range of helpful features. In this article, we'll walk you through the functionalities available to you in a friendly and user-oriented manner.

Create Account

Once your loan application has been submitted, whether you completed it independently or in person at the Lender's office, we'll go ahead and set up an account for you. In due course, you'll receive an email containing a link that will lead you to the password setup page.

We kindly request that you follow this link and proceed to create your password. It's essential to keep in mind that the Customer Portal contains sensitive information and serves as the platform for loan applications. To safeguard your privacy and security, please ensure that your password remains confidential and is not disclosed to others.

In some instances, you may be asked to accept a disclaimer note.

Once you've done that, you'll be directed to your Customer Portal. We kindly recommend allowing your browser to access your location, as this additional layer of security enables us to monitor for any unusual activity and provide you with even better protection.

Now, you can use these credentials to log in to the Customer Portal. From here you can:

  • Manage personal details: update your information, upload personal documents, and secure access to your account

  • View and manage your bank details

  • View loan details and request new loans.

Log in

  1. Go to the Lender’s website and click the Log in button. You will be redirected to the log-in page.

  1. Below the "Log in" header, enter your username. Typically, this is the same as your email address.

  2. Input your password.

  3. Click the Log in button.

  4. Upon successful authorization, you will be redirected to your Customer Portal.

Alternative Login Methods

If your Lender offers this functionality, you might notice convenient options like "Log in with Google" and "Log in with Facebook" at the bottom of the section.

  • Click the button and you will be redirected to the standard log-in page of the corresponding application.

  • If the email defined for the user account on Google/Facebook, matches the email address defined for your user in TurnKey Lender, you will be logged in to the system with corresponding permissions.

Forgotten Password

If you've forgotten your password, follow these steps to reset it:

  1. Below the Log in button, locate and click on the "Forgot your password" link.

  2. A new window will appear. Here, you will need to:

    • Enter your Login (typically your email address).

    • Complete the CAPTCHA verification.

  3. After filling in the required information, click the "Change password" button.

  4. You will receive an email containing a password reset link. Simply follow the instructions in the email to reset your password.

 

 

Please keep in mind that If the number of login attempts exceeds the limit, your account will get temporarily locked out for security reasons. You can retry logging in to the system later.

Understanding Customer Portal Screen

While the appearance of the portal may vary among different Lenders, the core layout remains consistent:

  1. Upper panel: The features accessible in the upper panel of the interface are tailored to each lender's offerings.
    Commonly included options are:

    1. Notification Alerts: To keep you updated on important account activities.

    2. Language Selection: Allowing you to switch the interface language as per your preference.

    3. Account Logout: A quick-access menu for securely exiting your account.

  1. Main menu: The list of options on the main menu can depend on a specific Lender. These typically cover:

    1. Personal Details and Password Management (Your name): For updating personal information and documents, and maintaining password security.

    2. Bank Details: To manage and update your banking information.

    3. New loan: Apply for a new loan.

    4. Active loans: View any loans from the moment of applying and until the loan has been paid off, canceled, rejected, or otherwise

 

  1. Main screen: The main screen section is where you'll find information relevant to the menu option you've selected. The displayed content adapts to your chosen menu selection, providing you with the information and tools you need.

Manage Personal Details

Access Personal Details

Select your name in the Main Menu and you will be redirected to the Personal details screen.

From here you can:

View and update basic information

Once you’ve got to the Personal details screen, your details will be displayed. A pencil icon is displayed next to every field that you can edit. Click the pencil icon (1), and enter the new value.

Please note that the availability of specific fields may vary based on your Lender's rules and policies.

Working with your documents

Customer Documents pertain to you personally, rather than to a specific loan. These include various forms of identification, permits, employment contracts, proof of ownership rights, and similar documents. Once uploaded, these documents become accessible to the lender's staff for all your current and future loan applications.

Customer Documents are saved in personal details, below the basic information.

You can:

  1. View a document: Click the document file icon

  2. Download a document: Mouse over the document and click the download icon.

  3. Delete a document: Mouse over the document and click the x button.

  4. Upload a document: Click the +Add file button. Select and upload the file from your computer.

 

 

 

Some lenders may not allow deleting documents.

Change Your Password

For improved security of your account, we recommend changing your password if you suspect it has been compromised. To do this, simply click the Change password button below the documents section.

 

  1. Enter your old password for verification.

  2. Input and confirm your new password.

  3. Click OK to confirm the password change.

Please keep in mind that this method allows to reset the password but is not the on to use if you have forgotten your password.

Set Up a Two-Step Verification

If your Lender supports it, you can take an extra step to enhance the security of your account with two-step verification. This added layer of security provides the flexibility to select the verification method that aligns with your personal security needs, ensuring an extra measure of protection for your account

If the two-step verification is supported, you'll find options to activate it through either email or phone verification.

Once the method(s) is chosen, you will get a message, detailed instructions will be displayed below the method.

Now, upon login, you'll encounter an extra Verification code step.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Manage Your Bank Details

Lenders collect bank details for different purposes such as verifying your financial status, disbursing funds to your account, or collecting payments. Keeping these details accurate and current is of utmost importance. That’s why you can update your bank details and even complete the bank verification process right from the Customer's portal.

Select the Bank Details in the Main Menu to get to the functionality.

Add a Bank Card

To add a bank card, click the Add new card button.

Fill in the card details and click the OK button.

 

 

 

 

The information about the card can now be viewed and managed from the Bank Details section.

View and Manage the Bank Account

Select the Bank Details section in the Main Menu.

If you bank account details haven’t been entered by the Lender, you can add it by yourself (availability of the option may depend on a specific Lender’s rules and policies).

Provide all the details and save the account.

 

New loan

Customers can also apply for new loans from the back-office (New Loan section).

Fill out the details like the loan type, amount, term, and, if available, promo code. Click Apply now once you’re ready to submit.

Active loans

All the active loans are stored in the Active loans section of the Customer portal. Here you can see the current loan application status, upcoming payments, remaining amount, term, and the repayment button.

Notification alarms

Notifications help to keep you informed about significant events facilitated by the Lender. These events may include, for instance, reminders of upcoming payments or requests for additional actions, such as loan application approvals or bank account verifications. If there are unread notifications, you'll notice a numerical indicator, showing the count of messages you haven't viewed yet.

 

 

Banners

It's worth mentioning that, in addition to notifications, most important events are also highlighted through banners on the main screen. Banners related to your Customer’s account in general are displayed on all screents. Banners related to a specific loan or loan application are display

Language switch

If your Lender supports working several languages, you can switch the language of the Customer’s portal:

  • Click the globe iconcon

  • Select one of the available options.
