How to manage stores of a vendor

Once a Vendor entity has been created in the system, it is possible and necessary to add Store entities that represent stores, shops, retail or service points of the vendor. Each vendor can have any number of stores, but at least one store must be defined.

Add a Store

In order to add a new Store entity:

  1. Go to the Vendor list (Tools → Vendors) and click the pencil icon on the right from the vendor.

  2. Select the Stores tab and click “Create store” button.

  3. Provide details of the store as described in the Store Details section below.

View and Edit Store Details

Once a store has been created, it is added to the Stores table along with its basic information (Name, phone number, the number of users).

Click the pencil icon on the right to view and edit details of the store as described in the Store Details section below


Lock Store Details

Click the lock icon to disable editing of the store details for other users. The lock will turn blue. To disable the lock, click it again.

Basic Store Details

At the top of the form you can provide the following details of the store:

Name: Name of the store. This name will be displayed in all the selectors, therefore it should be kept reasonable and easy to understand

Phone and Address: Provide proper details of the store

Bank Account Details for a Store

Bank accounts: It is important to define at least one bank account. If the store has the same bank account as the defined for the vendor, simply enable the “Use vendor bank account” switcher

Otherwise, to add a bank account, click the “Add bank account” button at the top of the section

 

In the emerged pop-up, define:

  • Bank name

  • Financial institution number

  • Routing number

  • Account number

  • Account type (select “Savings” or “Checkings” from the dropdown)

Click OK

If there are more than one bank account, click the star icon to the left from the bank name to select the default account.
Default bank account cannot be deleted. It is the account used for automatic disbursement if the credit product implies disbursement to the vendor.

 

Contacts Details for a Store

Details of the store contact persons are visible to the Lender’s back-office users and can be used to solve any upcoming issues. Please make sure that the details are correct. At least one contact person must be defined.

To add a contact person , click the “Add contact person” button at the top of the section.

 

In the emerged pop-up, define:

  • Name and position of the person (mandatory fields)

Phone and Email (optional, but it is highly recommended to provide at least one of the two)
Click OK

 

There can be any number of contact persons (at least one).

Finalize Creation/Editing of a Store

Once all the necessary details have been defined/redefined, click the “Save Changes” button.
The button is disabled, if some obligatory information is missing or if the vendor is locked.

Now a loan application can be created for this specific store or assigned to it.
