How customers can select a vendor and store for a loan application
In some cases, when applying for a loan from the Web, customers can define the vendor and store, such that they want to obtain the loan to purchase the goods or services of this vendor and in this store.
Preconditions
Such a choice is only possible if the following preconditions have been met:
There is at least one vendor with at least one store defined in the system
The “Require customers to select a vendor for a loan” switcher is enabled in Tools → Vendors → Settings
The search by Industry category and Search store are only available if the “Show vendors on map” switcher is enabled in Tools → Vendors → Settings
Selecting Vendor and Store for a Loan
If the preconditions are met, customers are suggested to select the vendor and store immediately after the initial application for a loan (on the second screen of the wizard). This is true for both logged-in and new customers.
The customer can:
Directly select the vendor and store
Search for store by the category (available if “Show vendors on map” is active)
Search for store by the name (available if “Show vendors on map” is active)
Select the Vendor and Store
Click inside the ”Vendor” selector. All available vendors will be displayed.
Click inside the “Store” selector. All the stores available for this vendor will be displayed.
The store will be located on the map. Customers don’t need to define the Industry category or use the search field if they know the exact store.
If the customer has failed to find the right store, they can click the “Clear” button to the right from the Store name and try searching by industry or by the store name.
Search by Industry
The customer may not know the exact vendor or store, and can then search by the category.
Click inside the ”Industry category” selector. All available categories will be displayed.
Select the category.
All the stores of the matching category will be displayed on the map
Click any of the address flags and the Vendor and Store details will be filled in with the corresponding data
Search by Store
The customer may not know the exact vendor but know the store name or part of it, and can then search by the category.
Click the “Search store” and fill in the search key.
All the stores that match the search key will be displayed on the map
Click any of the address flags and the Vendor and Store details will be filled in with the corresponding data.
Finalize or Skip Selection
To finalize or skip the selection, click the “Next” button.
