Functionality Overview

System Document Management functionality (Settings → Application Flow → System documents) allows storing document of different types, such as loan agreements, terms & conditions documents, privacy policies, loan statements, etc.

All the documents are uploaded in the .doc or .docx format. (see Upload and Edit System Documents).

It is possible to upload several documents of the same type and define which of them will be used for a specific Credit Product. (see Assign System Documents to Credit Products). The user can preview and upload any of those documents from the Loan Application tab on the corresponding workplace. When doing so, the documents are provided in the .pdf format. (see Preview and Download System Documents)

A very special and convenient peculiarity is that the System documents can be created as Microsoft Word document templates and TurnKey Lender provides a list of dedicated merge fields for that (this means that when the document is downloaded by the user, all variables are substituted by corresponding values, e.g. “Dear {Customer Name}!” becomes “Dear Mr. Jack Johnson”, and “{LoanAmount}” turns into a specific number true for this specific loan. (see Use Merge Fields)

The last but not least, is that one document (usually a Loan Agreement) can be automatically sent to the customer for signing (if Document Signing integration is enabled).
