Functionality Overview

System Document Management functionality (Settings → Application Flow → System documents) allows storing document of different types, such as loan agreements, terms & conditions documents, privacy policies, loan statements, etc.

All the documents are uploaded in the .doc or .docx format. After the documents have been downloaded, they are automatically converted into the .pdf format and can be further downloaded by the user of a workplace . (see Upload and Edit System Documents).

It is possible to upload several documents of the same type and define which of them will be used for a specific Credit Product. (see Assign System Documents to Credit Products). The user can preview and upload any of those documents from the Loan Application tab on the corresponding workplace. When doing so, the documents are provided in the .pdf format only.
When creating a Microsoft Word document template, a list of system variables can be used. The list of variables is hardcoded in the system and cannot be changed by the user. When . (see Preview and Download System Documents)

A very special and convenient peculiarity is that the System documents can be created as Microsoft Word document templates and TurnKey Lender provides a list of dedicated merge fields for that (this means that when the document is downloaded by the user of the workplace, all variables contained in the document are substituted by corresponding values, e.g. “Dear {Customer Name}!” becomes “Dear Mr.
The user can perform the following operations on documents:
 Download documents;
 Review the download history;
 Preview uploaded documents.

The last but not least, is that one document (usually a Loan Agreement) can be automatically sent to the customer for signing (if Document Signing integration is enabled).
