Web Report Designer allows end-users to customize the report's structure within browsers without the additional involvement of the implementation team. The article provides details on how to configure a Web Report Designer in the Turnkey Lender Enterprise application to be available on the Web for the end-users and a set of actions that can be applied to the reports on the Web.

The Web Report Designer functionality allows managing reports on the Web:

• Create a new report.

• Search and review the report.

• Modify the existing reports.

The Web Report Designer page includes all reports previously created on the Web. There is no possibility to hide reports from the Web.

A list of reports is displayed in a table view. The table includes the following columns:

• Management column. Pressing the Pencil (Edit) icon in the management column will display the report for editing.

• Report name. The report name includes the report Display name and report description. The report name is a sortable and searchable column.

• Author. The name of the latest report editor. The system name is displayed as it is provided in the Administrator application. The author is a sortable and searchable column.

• Modified. The date of the last modification.

An information panel is displayed in case the report record is selected from the report list. The information panel includes the following history of report modification:

• Report editor name.

• Report modification date.

• Description added during the report modification.

To add a report on the web the following action steps should be done:

1. Select the +Add new option. Once the +Add new option is selected the Report Designer Window is displayed.

2. Create a report. Detailed instruction on how to build a report is provided in the Web Report Designer (Report Builder)

3. Preview report (optional)

4. Select the Save option. In the Save report window specify the following:

   1. Web report name

   2. Report Description

5. Select the Save option
   OR

6. Discard changes by selecting the Return Back option.

To edit a report on the Web the following steps should be done:

1. Select the report from the list of reports.

2. Select the Edit option. Once the option is selected the Report Desing Window is displayed.

3. Edit report. Detailed information about Report Designer Interface is provided in the article.

4. Save a change by selecting the Save option.

5. Describe a new version of the report.

6. Select the Save option to save the report.
   OR

7. Discard changes by selecting the Return Back option.

The search option is applied to both Report Name and Author columns are participate in the search.

If a report is opened for editing by another user, the current user can still access the report in read-only mode. The user is notified that a specific user is currently working with the document. The circle symbol with the capitalized first letter of the user name is displayed in this case. When hovering the symbol, the full user name is displayed.

When viewing the report, that is locked by another user, it is impossible to do any changes. The user can only review the report. It is only possible to move back to the list of reports.

If the Internet connection is lost during the report modification, the user is prevented from further modifications until the connection is up again. Once the connection is up again, the user is notified that the work can be resumed.

1. Create and configure a new workplace. There is no difference in workplace configuration for Web Report Designer.

2. Create a new menu item and configure it as follows:

   1. Provide the menu item name in the section Name

   2. Provide the menu item description in the section Description

   3. In the Type (Without Tabs option is selected) select the ManageReports option

3. Select the OK button to save the report setting page.

For all reports created on the Web, the rules are as follows:

• It is not possible to review or edit reports created on the Web through the Report Plug-in.

• It is not possible to save the report to the local storage.

• It does not upload the report from the local storage.

• It is possible to migrate reports by using the Solutions functionality.

• The system name of the report is generated automatically.

• The system name has a GUID view.

• The display name corresponds to the display name provided on the Web during the report creation.

• User value corresponds to the user-created or modified report.

• The description corresponds description provided on the web.

• The creation date corresponds to the date of report creation.

• The termination date corresponds to the date of report termination.

• Used menu item indicates weather report has been assigned to the menu item or not.
