Advantages of a Custom Calendar

Custom calendars allows company to keep to its own customizable calendar with easy-to-add holidays and weekends. Users authorized to use the Settings workplace can easily:

This seemingly small change allows for convenient use of the system and awareness of all its users about the working schedule of the company. Moreover, once the custom calendar has been created, it is possible to set-up automatic date rolling, as described in the following subsection.

Date Rolling

Date Rolling is automatic move of due dates that fall on the weekend or bank holiday to a working day (most commonly - to the nearest following working day). This way, the company won’t have to deal with the cases when ab observant borrower misses the due date because it falls on a bank holiday. Such an approach is beneficial for the both company employees who won’t need to spend time and effort to report such delays, and what is even more important, for the customers who will feel respected and won’t need to adjust their usual payment routines or worry about missing a due date.

How to Set Up Custom Calendar

First of all you need to address your TurnKey Lender contact point and enable the custom calendar functionality. Once the functionality has been enabled, you (or any other company user authorized to use the Settings workplace) will see the “Calendar” tab in the Settings → Loan Settings section.

By default it is displayed for the current year and month. All the holidays defined for the company (if any) are displayed in the table below the year selection.

Add a holiday

To add a new holiday,

Click the “Add new holiday” button

For example we’ve added the Labor Day for year 2022. When the period is switcher from “annual” to “one time” the calendar field will appear - this way we can conveniently find the first Monday of September

Modify the Calendar

All saved holidays will appear in the table below the year selector.
