TurnKey Lender’s State Management feature allows you to assign credit products to specific states.

  1. To do that, you first need to choose the states you work in. 

  • Navigate to System -> States management 

  • Click the Use state management toggle

  • Select the states you work in

4. Once you’re done editing the new/existing Credit product, scroll to the bottom of the page and click OK.

 

5. If you’d like to create a Promo code for a certain state, you need to create a credit product (steps 2-4) with the conditions you’d like your borrowers to receive once they apply the promo code.

Other than the credit product details, there are two important settings to keep in mind:  

  • assign the credit product to the specific states(s) where you want the promo code to work

  • Make the credit product invisible to the borrowers.

The name of the credit product is the promo code. The conditions of this hidden credit product will apply for the borrowers who used the promo code. 

 

How to use credit products and promo codes from the front-office

If the States Management feature is enabled, a borrower will be asked to specify their state when they apply for a loan and the system will pull the list of Credit Products available to them.

To use a promo code (apply for a hidden credit product), the borrower needs to input the name of the hidden credit product into the corresponding field in the loan application starting page.

If the promo code is valid for the state selected by the borrower, they will be able to proceed.
